Ty'r Ysgol Vegetarian Guest House

Welcome to our website!
Ty'r Ysgol is a Vegetarian Guest House situated on the edge of Botwnnog, a Welsh village, virtually in the middle of the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales. The views on all sides are quite striking and there is a wonderful feeling of space and freedom.
The
accommodation consists of 3 double rooms all of which are en-suite, and individually designed. Fresh flowers and organic chocolate welcome guests into their bedrooms, and when it is time to relax into bed, guests slip between luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets. All rooms have a T.V., radio and access to tea/coffee making facilities. Choices of tea are plentiful, and include fruit, herbal, black, green, decaffeinated, and so on.Ty'r Ysgol (pronounced teer-us-gol) is an early 19th century School House that has been renovated sympathetically. The garden is large and secluded, surrounded by mature trees, and even has its own small copse in one corner, which on a hot summer's day (and we get plenty of them, honestly) is a welcome retreat. There is also a small summer-house, in which you can take cover, if that refreshing Welsh rain begins to fall.
If you decide to venture out of Ty'r Ysgol's grounds, then there is a choice of at least 12 exquisite beaches, all of which are within a 20 minute drive; Pwllheli is the nearest market town and further on is Criccieth and Porthmadog, both well worth a visit. Just beyond Porthmadog, is Snowdonia National Park, about 45 minutes from Botwnnog.
In the evenings, there are plenty of pubs and restaurants to eat out, some being better than others, so please ask me for recommendations.
Well, I hope this resume gives you an idea of Ty'r Ysgol and the area. Please do not hesitate to call me any time if you need any more information; leave a message on the answerphone if I am not at home and I will call you back. If you decide to come and stay, then rest assured, I shall do my best to make your stay as relaxing and peaceful as possible.
