The
Blue Room looks out onto the garden and beyond, to fields and softly rolling hills. It is east facing, and the morning sun shining through the lace panels at the window, is reminiscent of a bygone age of romance. The original cast iron fireplace, window seat, and stained glass door panel all help to make this room a complete experience of gentility and calm. It has an en-suite shower, and separate en-suite toilet and basin decorated with a tasteful smattering of blue and white Mexican tiles. The iron bed is a standard double size.|

The
Green Room has the same aspect as the Blue Room, so you can wake up to the similar feeling of well-being as the sun wakes you gently shining through beautiful Indonesian voile panels; shutters will keep the day at bay if so wished. This room has a rather opulent feel with its red and green fabrics, and Indonesian teak furniture. Again, the window seat is a tranquil place to sit and look out at the garden and beyond, experiencing waves of serenity washing over you. There is an en-suite bathroom (with Victorian style mixer shower), mainly white, but with a smattering of coloured ethnic tiles breaking any possibility of a clinical feel. The bed is a king size.
The large Guests' Sitting Room, where breakfast is served at one end, the breakfast tables looking out onto the garden through the French windows, is furnished and decorated eclectically. There are comfy sofas in front of a real fire (in the colder months), and a plethora of books and games on the shelves here to pass the time.
In the warmer months guests are welcome to eat breakfast outside in the dappled shade of the ash tree. Just let me know your preference.

There is a peaceful seating area on the first floor, where guests can relax on the chaise longue in the morning sunshine, whilst waiting for the kettle to boil. Look out on the garden and watch the birds and other wildlife busily going about their daily chores …… whilst you don't have to!
Breakfast consists of a variety of cereals, fruit juice, fresh fruit, cooked food, toast (made from Ty'r Ysgol's own handmade spelt bread), preserves and a wide range of tea, tissanes, Barleycup and caffeinated/decaffeinated cafetiere. The cooked part of the breakfast will vary, and the choice may consist of stuffed buckwheat pancakes, mushrooms au Provence, fresh tomatoes, polenta triangles, Russian style potato cakes, eggs cooked in a number of ways, Lincolnshire vege-sausages, organic baked beans, etc.
All eggs are from local free-range hens, and I endeavour to provide as much organic produce as possible. Alternatives to dairy produce can be provided, such as soya milk, rice milk, but please note that I will need fore-warning of special diets. Please also let me know, at the time of booking, if you are vegan. However, I try to keep alternatives in stock most of the time. Please also inform me in advance of any relevant allergies that you may have so that I can do my best to cater accordingly.
